go-go

Club-Hoppers from as far away as Cleveland, Ohio called the Boathouse trying to get reservations to see the 373 Pound, Irish Go-Go Dancer, Sandi Riley. All Pat Zill could say was, "Try to get here early."

Sandi originally walked in off the street and entered the Boathouse Talent Contest. When the crowd went wild Pat offered her a paid return engagement.

He then built a band around her called Kuarter Moon, featuring singer Billy Bova, and lead guitarist Garland Hackney, whom Pat first heard playing guitar on a Parsons Avenue street corner. Sandi and the band played five nights a week for two solid years.
